Q. How does the s Series provide superior cleaning?
A. The Roomba s9+ robot vacuum’s superior suction power combines with PerfectEdge® Technology for our deepest clean yet*. With a unique Maximised-Edge Design, advanced sensors, and a corner brush specially designed with 5 angled arms, the robot grabs dirt and debris from deep in corners and along walls, directing it into the robot’s path to be vacuumed up. The 3-Stage Cleaning System uses Dual Multi-Surface Rubber Brushes that instantly adjust and flex to help thoroughly clean carpets and hard floors, and 40X the suction* to pull in embedded dirt, debris and pet hair from wherever it hides.

Q. What is the benefit of having the Clean Base® Automatic Dirt Disposal unit?
A. The Clean Base® Automatic Dirt Disposal unit eliminates the dusty and dirty mess often associated with emptying vacuum bins. The Clean Base® Automatic Dirt Disposal unit enables the Roomba s Series to take convenience to a whole new level – automatically emptying for up to 60 days into the Clean Base, which also serves as the Roomba’s charging dock.
Q. What is Imprint® Smart Mapping?
A. Imprint® Smart Mapping technology describes the robot’s ability to learn, map and adapt to your home. The Roomba® s9+ learns your floorplan as it cleans and remembers this map for future cleaning jobs – this enables the robot to determine the best way to clean based on the orientation of each room, furniture placement, etc. Once the robot has learnt your space and you have labelled your rooms, your Smart Map also enables you to direct Roomba to clean a specific room, multiple rooms or an entire level of your home, all from the iRobot Home App.
Q. How does Roomba® build its Smart Map and know your rooms?
A. Roomba® s9+ builds a map of the area each time it starts a new cleaning job. After cleaning the same space a few times, the robot produces a Smart Map that you can customise in the iRobot Home App. You can merge, split and label rooms as you see fit. After that, you can even set a schedule so that the Roomba® s Series cleans certain rooms on specific days at certain times or an entire level of your home on the days you choose.
